What is a flow?
a. Consists of a series of tasks from the beginning to the end of a procss b. Tasks show the milestones of a process. Each task may be related to other tasks (e.g. final inspection cannot start unless sewing is completed). e. Task relations and durations define the total time required for the flow.

Who prepares flows?
a. Any authorized eFT user can: i. Create flows. ii. Assign tasks to different users (Task Owners): - Lap dip approval --> Buying side merchandiser - Sewing --> Manufacturer - Final inspection --> Sourcing side merchandiser iii. Finalize flows. b. Person creating a flow is called the Flow Owner.

Who executes Tasks?
a. Execution of a Task consists of entering start and completion dates. b. A Task can only be executed either by Task Owner or Flow Owner.

Do I have to create Flows always from scratch?
a. No. eFT supports logic of Flow Templates. b. Flow Templates are basically reusable Flows. c. Each Flow Template refers to different type of product groups such as: i. Solid dyed jersey tops ii. Yarn dyed jersey tops iii. Denims d. Flow Templates can be created only by authorized eFT user. However any users allowed creating Flows can use any available Flow Templates. e. With above features, use of Flow Templates: a. Minimizes time to prepare Flows. b. Avoids creation of faulty or inconsistent Flows. c. Enables use of standard tasks names across the organization.

Can I see my active Orders (Flows) all together on a single page?
a. Yes. You can see your Orders all together. b. You can also view them split into groups such as i. Country Based, e.g. My Turkey Orders, My China Orders, etc. ii. Manufacturer Based c. Item Name, Order Quantity, Manufacturer and Delivery Date are displayed together with a thumbnail image. Any possible confusion is minimised. d. If an order delay is estimated, its Contracted Delivery Date and Estimated Delivery Date are highlighted in yellow.

How does eFT anticipate estimated Delivery Date and delay?
a. eFT benefits from the structured Flow Templates. b. Flow Templates consist of Tasks. Each task has a planned duration and relations with other tasks. For instance, if the planned duration for cutting is 2 days, unless cutting is completed its related task `sewing` cannot start. c. If cutting was delayed, eFT recalculates new end and start dates for sewing. If cutting or sewing is on Critical Path, Estimated Delivery Date will also be suitably amended.

Can I see Tasks which are on Critical Path?
a. Yes, easily. Knowing the Tasks on Critical Path may be very helpful especially if you are working on finding possibilities to reduce the lead time. b. When you are in a Flow you only need to click on a button that displays the Tasks on the Critical Path.

Do I need to login to eFT to learn about delayed Orders?
a. No. eFT emails to you every morning a daily `digests` for your delayed orders. b. You can also set up other Watches to receive other digests such as i. Deliveries within next XX days ii. Orders that Delivery Dates have been updated recently iii. Orders delayed more than XX days iv. Orders without Flow

Who is responsible for creating Flows?
It all depends on your decision. You OR the sourcing country merchandiser can create Flows.

Who is responsible for updating Tasks of each Flow?
a. Tasks can be updated by Task Owner or Flow Owner. b. A Flow Owner is defined when a Flow is created. It can be the creator or another user, say the sourcing country merchandiser. c. Task Owners are defined at Template level. d. Task Owners can be different role players, such as i. Lap dip approval --> Buying side merchandiser ii. Sewing --> Manufacturer iii. Final inspection --> Sourcing side merchandiser e. However, it is preferred that all tasks to be updated by the same person, say sourcing country merchandiser, The Template should be set up accordingly. f. A Flow Owner can change Task Owners at any time after creating a Flow.

Can I see my Pending Tasks for all Orders on a single page?
a. Yes. You can see all Pending Tasks together with thumbnail images of Order Items. b. You can also perform any Task related `actions` such as start, complete, change plan date, add notes or attachments. c. You can also perform the above `actions` for multiple tasks which saves a substantial amount of time. For example, if there are eight different styles made of the same fabric and you approved the bulk fabric, you may perform this approval with a single click for all eight styles with a single click.

For meetings I need to see the Critical Paths of my Orders on Excel tables. Can eFT help for this requirement?
a. Yes. You may choose a list of Tasks from the Task Library that you would like to see on the Excel sheet. b. You give a name to this set of Tasks and save it as a Flow Report Template. c. You can create as many different Flow Report Templates as you may need. d. You can use related Flow Report Templates to create up-to-date Excel reports without spending any time. e. Excel Reports also include thumbnail images of Order items.

Can I get performance reports for my manufacturers and sourcing merchandisers?
a. Yes. eFT supports performance reports based on timely delivery and quantity. b. For example, you may obtain timely delivery performance of manufacturers for the orders between any date brackets that you would define. c. The same report can be obtained for Order quantities.

What is a task library?
a. A Task library contains as set of Tasks generated by the authorised eFT user. b. Tasks can be grouped for easier use, such as Sample Approvals, Bulk Approvals, Manufacturing Tasks, etc. c. When creating Flow Templates or Flows, Tasks can be selected from the Task Library which makes it easy to use and supports a homogenous naming convention throughout the company. d. Any Task that is a member of the Task Library can take part in the eFT system supported reports.

My company is a sourcing company serving multiple retailer clients who give different names to the same Tasks. Can I still benefit from the Task Library?
a. Yes. Because each Task in the Task Library can be given a different name for different organisational units, e.g. | Library Name | Pre-Production Sample Approval | | Client A | Red Seal Approval | | Client B | Silver Seal Approval | b. By means of this feature, system reports are automatically customised for each client. c. This feature may also be useful within the same company if its various departments have different descriptions for the same items or processes. |

What is multiple calendar support?
a. eFT supports the maintenance of an unlimited number of different calendars. b. Calendars are created and maintained by authorised eFT users. c. While some calendars can be created for the use of every department throughout the application, some other calendars can be created to be used specifically by certain departments, such as Menswear Dept Fit Calendar. d. Each Task can be related with different calendars. Through this feature eFT can calculate very reliable estimated dates.

a. You can attach any number of documents to each Task or Flow. b. You can also attach voicemail or written notes for each Task. c. The result is that everybody knows the most up-to-date documents are available in eFT.

Does eFT accommodate quantity information?
a.Yes. You can enter quantity information based on colour and size at each step. b. eFT compares actual versus ordered quantities for each colour/size. c. You can also require eFT to notify you if any entered quantity is less than X% (figure to be defined by yourself) than confirmed order quantity.

What are the web browsers that eFT supports?
a. eFT does not use any of the ‘built-in’ functions of a browser. So, it is truly platform independent. b. You can use eFT with any browser such as i. Microsoft Internet Explorer ii. Firefox iii. Mozilla and any other.

Roles are created by an authorised user who is usually the system administrator. c. Each role defines a set of access rights to eFT functions and sub functions. d. Each user is given a role that is performed within a group of organisational units. This approach ensures that i. each user sees and performs only his/her allowed actions and ii. any access right requirements of management can be correctly satisfied without any compromise.

Who will take care of the tasks of a Task Owner if s/he leaves the company or is assigned to another department?
a. eFT supports assignment of Role Owners to each Task, e.g. such as the case for the Jerseywear merchandiser in India buying office dept no 3. b. Let us say Garima is the Senior Merchandiser (a role in eFT in Dept 3.) However, she will be on maternity leave for 4 months and Nina will substitute her. As soon as Nina is introduced into eFT (with a role of Senior Merchandiser in Dept 3), eFT automatically assigns all Tasks from Garima to Nina. The reverse action is equally easy when Garima returns.
